City receives bomb threats in two consecutive days

Springfield has experienced evacuations at major buildings in the city for two days in a row after bomb threats were emailed in.

The first bomb threat was emailed in on Thursday morning that multiple bombs were placed at many facilities throughout Springfield. After the threat was made, Springfield City Hall, the Bureau of Motor Vehicles, the Springfield Driver's Exam Station, the Ohio License Bureau Southside, the Springfield Academy of Excellence, and Fulton Elementary School were all evacuated on Thursday.

Yesterday, two more bomb threats were emailed in during the morning. Springfield City Hall, Cliff Park High School, Perrin Woods Elementary School, Roosevelt Middle School, the Bureau of Motor Vehicles, and the Ohio License Bureau Southside were all evacuated on Friday.

The reason why bomb threats were sent to Springfield, OH is due to people believing what former President Donald Trump said about the city during the Presidential Debate on Tuesday evening. He claimed that Haitian immigrants are stealing people's pets and are eating them.

"In Springfield, they're eating the dogs. The people that came in, they're eating the cats. They're eating - they're eating the pets of the people that live there. And this is what's happening in our country. And it's a shame."

Hopefully, the authorities will be able to track the emails to see who sent the bomb threats on Thursday and on Friday.
