The Illinois Department of Human Services (IDHS) is running a virtual recruitment event for bilingual talent on Wednesday, September 25 from 2 PM to 3 PM CT.

The State of Illinois needs plenty of Spanish-speaking workers right now in order to translate wherever necessary. The Illinois Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) just had litigation filed against them last week over a situation in which a communication barrier led to a lawsuit. A lady had her infant child taken away from her because there was a lack of a Spanish-speaking translator in the vicinity.

The State of Illinois needs Spanish-speaking workers in each and every department at every regional office. At this current time, there are over 300 jobs available in over 50 different cities throughout the Land of Lincoln.

This virtual job fair is free of charge, but you will need to pre-register at this link provided by IDHS. After you register, IDHS will send the virtual career fair link to your email address.

During this virtual presentation, you will learn about the various kinds of jobs that are open throughout Illinois along with the benefits that go along with these employment opportunities. The entire virtual recruitment presentation will be in Spanish.
