Community Connections Expo on 10/22

The Joliet Township High School District 2024 (JTHS) is holding the Community Connections Expo on Tuesday, October 22 from 5 PM to 8 PM CT at Joliet Central High School. This expo is free of charge to the public.

The Community Connections Expo is a health resource fair and a job fair all rolled into one. For the job fair portion of the expo, representatives from eighteen different employers will be taking resumes from job seekers. Here is the list of employers that will be present on Tuesday evening.

Accurate Personnel, Cintas, Emediate Cure Quick Care, Fastenal, Franciscan Village, Fastenal, Franciscan Village, Greater Joliet Area YMCA, Harrah's Joliet Casino, Illinois Department of Corrections (IDOC), Integrity Trade Services, Joliet Junior College (JJC), JTHS Human Resources, Nicor Gas, Nucor Steel Kankakee, Official Finders, Pace Bus, Walgreens, Waste Management, and Will County Clerk.

For the health resource fair, there will be representatives from over 25 different local organizations that will be able to show you what is available for you throughout the community.

There will also be free health screenings along with various health and wellness talks from 6 PM to 8 PM. If you go to any of the talks, then you will be placed in a raffle for a free prize.

Joliet Central High School is located at 201 E. Jefferson Street. Enter the building at the auditorium entrance on Eastern Avenue or the Student Center main entrance.
