ADRIAN — Adrian celebrated the nation’s independence on July 4 — the Fourth of July — with an annual parade through the streets of downtown Adrian, conducted and organized by Civitan of Lenawee , a Lenawee County nonprofit organization that focuses on social activism and disability advocacy.

Onlookers were treated to multiple parade entrants including walkers, marchers, floats, military and local law enforcement, festival queens and more.

The parade route begins on Greenly, St. Joseph, Company and Chandler streets for the lineup of entrants and moves east on Maumee Street through downtown Adrian, eventually filing into Monument Park, 436 E. Maumee St.
