Underrated Page, Arizona: Secret Hikes, Hidden Gems, and Mind-Blowing Natural Wonders
If you go to Page, Arizona, be sure to look up 'Kayak Horseshoe Bend' company & float the river! They will supply the Kayaks/Paddleboards & life jackets, along with transport up the river, towardthe Glen Dam. We suggest calling and booking vs trying to navigate their website & selecting the proper excursion & kayaks ( 928-355-2211 ). If you have your own Kayak/Paddleboard, they can get you up the river for a small fee, no need to rent from them if you don't want it. We suggest going in the summer months & start your paddle as early as possible. The sun in the summer WILL cook you, so get on the water asap in the a.m. & take the proper sun protection & attire (long sleeve spf, hat, sunglasses, shoes & clothing that you don't mind getting a little wet, waterproof camera, waterproof backpack, snacks & filtered refillable water bottle ). You will begin & end your paddle excursion at Lee's Ferry Launch. This is roughly a 45 minite drive from Page Arizona. More questions? Drop a comment -Ash
