Flau’jae Johnson is putting down roots in more ways than one.

On Friday, the Louisiana State University (LSU) basketball guard and rapper shared that she has purchased 20 acres of land, a significant step toward turning her dreams into reality.

In a celebratory Instagram post , Johnson said, “GOD IS AMAZING! I Done Got Addicted To The Acres. 20 Years Old With a total of 20 Acres !! Generational Wealth Fr @HomeDepot, what’s up?? Help me make some dreams a reality!”

For Johnson, her dreams reach far beyond her talents of music and basketball.

“This land represents more than just an investment for me—it’s about building something bigger than basketball or music. I want to create opportunities for my community and leave a legacy that shows young women, especially young Black women, that we can do it all. Owning 20 acres at my age is proof that with vision and hard work, we can break boundaries and build the future we dream of,” she said, according to Boardroom.

In August, Johnson, a Savannah, GA, native, shared the news of her first land acquisition in her home state.

“BLESSINGS BLESSINGS BLESSINGS. Y’all I’m only 20 years old and just closed on my first piece of land!! WATCH WHAT I DO. I GOT ACRESSS BABYYYYY,” she shared via Instagram. “This means so much to me being a young Black woman continuing to beat the odds!! I’m starting to create generational wealth for my family and I couldn’t be more excited.”

Johnson has carved out a prominent space for herself both on and off the court, reportedly having the highest name, image, and likeness (NIL) valuation in women’s college basketball, according to On3. In June 2024, Sports Illustrated reported that her endorsement deals amounted to nearly $4.5 million.

She’s also making her mark on screen, starring in the Amazon Prime series “The Money Game,” produced by Shaquille O’Neal. The show follows Johnson as she navigated the NIL landscape in 2023, building her empire while juggling school, family, and her music career.

In addition to Johnson, the series also features LSU athletes Angel Reese, runner Alia Armstrong, and quarterback Jayden Daniels.
