Horse Nations Indian Relay Council Championship of Champions Set to Return to Casper This Fall
The Central Wyoming Fairgrounds will welcome the return of the Championship of Champions Indian Relay Race, September 20-22, in Casper, Wyoming. “The Championship of Champions Indian Relay Races brings a lot of excitement and incredible competition to Casper and it’s wonderful to be able to showcase Native American culture at this exciting event,” said Angela Berry, Marketing & Promotions for Central Wyoming Fair & PRCA Rodeo. “It’s fun to see fans come not only from Casper, but also from all over the State of Wyoming, across the United States and Canada to watch this iconic competition!

CASPER, Wyo. — A recent Kelly Walsh High School graduate took first place in a prestigious music scholarship competition in Jackson over the weekend. Evan DePaolo, who just graduated from KWHS this May, took home the $25,000 first-place scholarship on Sunday, playing multiple percussion pieces in the Grand Teton Music Festival’s Seventh Annual Scholarship Competition held in honor of the festival’s music director, Donald Runnicles.

The space has been empty since Bed Bath & Beyond closed in early 2023 shortly before the company was liquidated. A new major retailer opening in the Eastridge Mall is a bit of good news for the property after years of losing tenants due to changing trends and shopping habits that have affected indoor malls and retailers across the country.
