For the select few lucky enough to be in the market for a ski-in, ski-out chalet, one real estate opportunity in Colorado could offer a chance to save millions. Le Mayen Estate, a Swiss-designed mountain estate in Breckenridge, is hitting the auction block on Aug. 12 with a starting bid of $5 million — well short of the property’s estimated value of $19.5 million. The auction will be conducted by Interluxe Auctions, an online luxury real estate auction marketplace.
Denver settles lawsuit over collapse of minority business fund
DENVER — The city of Denver has reached a settlement with an investment fund after the collapse of a project to support women and minority-owned businesses. The city of Denver has agreed to pay the Domestic Emerging Markets Investments (DEMI) Fund for all of its outstanding invoices. The deal ends the relationship that was created to benefit small businesses owned by women and people of color.
