Le Mayen Estate, a Swiss-designed mountain estate in Breckenridge, is hitting the auction block on Aug. 12 with a starting bid of $5 million — well short of the property’s estimated value of $19.5 million. The city of Denver has agreed to pay the Domestic Emerging Markets Investments (DEMI) Fund for all of its outstanding invoices. UPDATE, 7/26/2024: The Campbell County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed fatalities in a plane crash reported north of Gillette. According to Undersheriff Quentin Reynolds, the National Transportation Safety Board is responding to investigate and additional details will come through the federal agency.
