    Jesse Burkett 4, Canton 0 : Sophia Delvalle struck out four while hurling a 4-hit shutout as Jesse Burkett blanked Canton to capture the 12-under state championship in Agawam.

    Burkett went 10-0 in the postseason and outscored their opponents by a whopping 110-11 margin. Burkett advances to the Little League World Series East Region Tournament in Bristol, CT against Vermont at 4 p.m. Sunday in a game broadcast on ESPN-plus.

    Burkett opened the scoring on Sunday when Annie Friend lined a double to center to drive in Jailyn Buccico, then Leah Becker doubled to center to score Sophia Delvalle in the fifth to extend the lead to 2-0.

    Burkett put the game away in the sixth when Jocelyn Baumann led off with a single and scored on a triple to left by Sophia Carrero. Buccico followed with a sacrifice to left to plate Carrero and make it 4-0.

    Leominster 9, Milford 6 : Brendan Mariani had three singles, Tony Salvatelli singled, doubled and drove in a run and Sawyer Corbin, Zack Casey and Tyler Godin all drove in two to power host Post 151 (21-4) past Post 59 in the regular season finale at Doyle Field.

    Leominster earned the top seed in the Zone 4 playoffs and will start postseason play on Thursday.

    Damien Carter doubled twice and drove in two runs for Milford, while Ian Carter and Keith Lee (RBI) each added two hits.

    North County 10, Main South 1 : Jacob Paskell recoded a two-run double in the fourth, fifth and sixth innings as visiting North County (14-5) got past Main South (6-14) at Tivnan Field.

    Paskell finished with six RBIs, while Ty Curtis and Cody Allen each had two hits and Jack O'Day drove in a pair for North County.

    Owen Cooney, Chase Eggen and Brady Fenner all singled for Main South.
