The Endless Mountains are known for their beautiful landscapes and rich heritage. They now host large-scale murals that bring color to the historic towns and represent the area's history and future goals. These include The Butterfly Project Mural, Dushore’s 150th Anniversary, Factoryville: Hometown of Christy Mathewson, Forest City Trail Town Mural, and In the Moment (Of Then and Now).

The Butterfly Project Mural is at the back of Greenwood’s Furniture in Tunkhannock. Local resident Merriel Oliver led this community project, inspired by Rick Mikula, “The Butterfly Guy.” The mural, finished in 2014, aims to raise awareness about pollinators, boost ecotourism, and promote local art and events. It features swallowtail butterflies in a field of flowers.

Dushore’s 150th Anniversary mural is at 220 Water St., Dushore. Painted by Karen Black in 2009, it showcases Dushore’s history on nine separate boards. Black spent time at the local museum to ensure the mural accurately represents the town's past.

Factoryville: Hometown of Christy Mathewson is at College Ave. & Maple St., Factoryville. It honors Christy Mathewson, a legendary pitcher born in Factoryville in 1880. The artist of the mural is unknown, but it includes facts and statistics about Mathewson’s baseball career.

The Forest City Trail Town Mural is at 503 Main St., Forest City. Painted by Jeff George, this 1,800-square-foot mural welcomes visitors to Forest City, a town on the D&H Rail-Trail. It features local wildlife and represents the town’s outdoor activities.

In the Moment (Of Then and Now) is in the lobby of the Mattern Building in Mildred. Painted by Cat Badger, it depicts Sullivan County’s history. Badger, a Sullivan County native, was grateful to paint a mural in her hometown.
