The North Branch Art Trail is preparing for the second Wyoming County Arts & Artists Tour. From May 3 to May 5, 55 local artists will display their works at 29 venues in the county. The tour will feature a range of art forms including oil paintings, pottery, stained glass, sculpture, photography, and books. The event's success last year led to its return this year, says Dan Tompkins, the director of the North Branch Art Trail.

The tour will take participants to art studios, galleries, cultural venues, local shops, and historic sites. They will also get to explore small towns and scenic backroads. A tour booklet, available at all venues the week before and during the event, will provide a list of artists, tour stops, maps, a dining guide, and other information.

Tompkins thanked the Wyoming County Commissioners and courthouse staff for their support. Last year's group exhibit was at the Courthouse Art Gallery, but due to the event's growth, it has been moved to the larger Dietrich Theater. A new 'Student Art Show', coordinated by local school district art teachers, will be held at the courthouse.

The group exhibit at the Dietrich will be on display until May 28, with a reception on April 21. The Student Art Show will run from April 18 to June 4, with a reception on April 19. Updates about the event can be found on WyCAAT.com. For inquiries, contact the North Branch Art Trail at 570-289-4977 or northbrancharttrail@gmail.com.

The event will feature a variety of artists and venues, including Laceyville Hardware, Memory Lane Antiques & Collectibles, The Oldest House, Sue Palackas Contemporary Artist Studio, and many more.
