The City of Inverness is adopting CivicClerk, a new online agenda and meeting software. This software will be used for council meetings, which occur on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month. The aim is to make these meetings more accessible and efficient for residents.

CivicClerk has an integrated video feature, which allows remote participation. This feature enables residents to review meetings even if they are unable to attend in person or via Zoom.

The CivicClerk portal, accessible at https://invernessfl.portal.civicclerk.com/, provides information about upcoming council meetings. The adoption of this software is anticipated to improve the accessibility of council meetings at the Inverness Government Center.

All they need to do is schedule meetings so the public can attend at a reasonable time. Meeting used to be held at 7:30. So the working man and women could get home after work and have a quick dinner, then attend a council meeting. But the last city manager could not deal with the public over impute, sowala just change the time of the meeting so the public can’t attend, problem solved.
