    Local Journalism Icon Sam Ford to Inspire ICC Graduates at Upcoming Ceremony

He was honored by the Washington Association of Black Journalists and the Silver Circle of the National Academy of Arts and Sciences during his final months at WJLA.

    In addition to his professional life, Sam Ford has a keen interest in history, especially Black history. He traveled to Nigeria to conduct DNA analysis to explore his ancestry, discovering significant links to his heritage. Ford was married to journalist Gloria Murry Ford for 40 years and has two successful children.
