The Institute for the Creative Arts (ICA), set to be the first Performing & Visual Arts High School in Arkansas, has announced its Founding Board of Directors. This marks an important step in setting up the school, which will focus on developing artistic talent throughout the state.

The Founding Board includes five members, each with key skills for the school's governance and strategic direction. The board is led by Mrs. Jeannie Cole, who has 23 years of experience on the Fort Smith Public School Board and has served as Arkansas PTA President. Her leadership is expected to guide the ICA towards achieving its educational and artistic objectives.

The Vice-Chair, Mr. David Cravens, brings over thirty years of financial expertise from his time at Regions Bank in the Fort Smith area. His knowledge will help manage the school's finances and fundraising activities. Dr. Rick Foti, the Secretary, offers more than 40 years in educational administration, which will shape the school's academic policies.

Ms. JoAnna Lever, involved in K-12 Charter startups and educational leadership, will be key in developing and implementing new educational programs at ICA. Her experience includes being the Founding Principal of the Fayetteville Virtual Academy. Ms. Kaylee Rainwater, the Parent Engagement Coordinator, adds her experience from commercial banking and a personal connection to the arts through her daughter's involvement in theatre.
