The Felt Mansion concert series, a popular summer event in Laketown Township, is set to return with a variety of musical acts. Running from July 11 through August 1, the series will host performances every Thursday, except during the Fourth of July week. This schedule adjustment allows the series to extend into early August. Elizabeth McEwen, the executive director of the Felt Estate, highlighted the venue's role in community gatherings, originally established by Dorr Felt.

The series will feature a diverse range of performers at the historic estate. It begins on July 11 with Zion Lion, a reggae band from Kalamazoo, followed by The Schrock Bros, a Michigan-based Americana/blues group, the next week. On July 25, Bernadette Kathryn and the Lonely Days Band will perform a mix of country, Motown, and rock and roll. The series ends on August 1 with Lighting Matches, an alternative rock band from Grand Rapids.

Local sponsors and vendors, including new supporter TNT Roofing and returning Saugatuck Brewing Company, help make these concerts free. The Michigan Wine Company and Pizza Parliament will also be present, continuing their support for the community.

The Felt Mansion and Carriage House will be open for tours on concert nights, allowing visitors to explore the estate's history and architecture. Built between 1925 and 1928 by Dorr E. Felt, the inventor of the Comptometer, the mansion has been a center for cultural and social activities. The concert series aims to continue Felt’s vision of uniting the community through music.
