Welcome to the 2024 Summer Season at the Kootenai County Farmer's Market! Established in 1986 by local farmers, the market has become a key place for small-scale farmers, food producers, crafters, and artisans. This year, we are expanding beyond Kootenai County while continuing our commitment to local production. All vendors are the actual producers of their products, allowing you to meet and engage with them directly.

This opening weekend, we offer a variety of activities. Please be patient with parking, enjoy a coffee, and explore the market's lively atmosphere, which includes music and food. The market is more than a shopping spot; it's a place to connect with the community and enjoy locally-sourced products. We appreciate your support, which is vital for our success.

This Saturday and the following Wednesday, our vendors will present a selection of fresh produce such as arugula, cilantro, dill, spinach, Asian greens, and mountain spinach. Killarney Farms will have certified organic plant starts and vegetables. The Idaho Tomato Lady offers deals on tomato and vegetable starts, and pesticide-free strawberry plants, celebrating her 30th year at the market.

For meat enthusiasts, Good Shepherd Lamb marks its 20th anniversary with lamb burgers, smokies, and gyros available throughout the summer. You'll also find beef, chicken, pork, local honey, and fresh-cut flowers. Special items for Mother’s Day include Berkshire Belly Bacon and Country Breakfast sausage.
