ORANGEBURG, S.C. (WIS) - The Orangeburg County Sheriff’s Office said two men have been arrested in connection with a robbery on Interstate 26. The Aiken County Coroner’s Office and South Carolina Highway Patrol are investigating a fatal crash that took place Saturday. Aiken County Coroner Darryl Ables said a North Augusta man was driving a 2010 Nissan Maxima north on Ascauga Lake Road when he ran off the right side of the road, hitting a mailbox, then a tree. The crash occurred in a rural area of Graniteville at about 7:50 p.m. on the 900 block of Ascuaga Lake Road near Chalk Bed Road.
