    Aiken Regional named High Performing hospital third year in a row

    AIKEN, S.C. (WJBF) – Aiken Regional Medical Centers has been named a High Performing hospital for heart attacks and heart failure, according to the U.S. News & World Report for 2024-2025.

    This is Aiken Regional Medical Centers’ third consecutive year receiving the rating, after being recognized as a High Performing hospital for the 2022-2023 and 2023-2024 years.

    According to the press release, the award is the highest a hospital can earn for U.S. News’ Best Hospitals Procedures & Conditions ratings, which are designed to give patients and health care providers information about facilities to receive care.

    Commenting on this year’s rating, Matt Merrifield, Chief Executive Officer at Aiken Regional Medical Centers, said:
