Lowes Foods to host grand opening in Aiken

AIKEN, S.C. (WJBF) – A new Lowes Foods supermarket will open its doors to the public on Thursday, July 25 in Aiken.

The store, located at 2940 Whiskey Road, will celebrate its grand opening with a ribbon cutting shortly before doors open at 8 a.m.

The Aiken Lowes Foods location will have “Lowes Foods Originals” which are areas in the store that are unique to the supermarket. These include The Beer Den, Boxcar Coffee, The Cakery, Cheese Shop, SausageWorks and The Community Table. The store’s deli will feature The Chicken Kitchen, The Smokehouse and Sammy’s.

Online shopping will also be available at the store through Lowes Foods to Go.

Lowes Foods was founded in 1954 and has more 80 supermarkets in North and South Carolina.
