SDSU Extension to host info session for non-farming landowners on Aug. 31
BROOKINGS — South Dakota State University Extension will host an informational session for agricultural land owners who don’t farm the land themselves. The South Dakota Non-Farming Landowner Information Session is from 10 a.m. to noon on Aug. 31 online via Zoom. Registration is required, and tickets are $30 per person. VERMILLION, S.D. — The cross country teams opened their season on home grounds with the Coyote Classic, featuring the SDSU Jackrabbits and the Mount Marty Lancers. Returner, Madison Brouwer (So.), lead the women's pack through the course with the help of Alexis Pagel (So.). Woman dead after being found ‘unresponsive’ in Pennington County Care Campus
SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — A 50-year-old woman died after being found “unresponsive” in the Pennington County’s Care Campus on Thursday afternoon. According to the Pennington County Sheriff’s Office, Jeanie Stephen Goodman of Rapid City was found at 2:30 p.m. Detox staff began lifesaving measures and medical assistance was called. She was transported to Monument Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
