So, here's a bit of a shake-up in the Florida dining scene! Wing House, the popular chain known for its wings and eye-catching uniforms, recently faced a hiccup. If you’ve ever found yourself craving wings in Florida, you might have stumbled upon Wing House. It's been around for 30 years, boasting 19 locations across the Sunshine State. They’re not just about wings; they also offer burgers, fajitas, and pizza. And let’s not forget those memorable uniforms that seem to be as talked-about as their food!

The Sanford location, however, hit a rough patch. It had garnered a decent 3.9-star rating on Google, but some reviews weren’t exactly glowing.

Fast forward to July 15, 2024, and the Wing House at 2935 S Orlando Drive caught the attention of state inspectors. Their visit uncovered a list of issues – 17 violations in total. Some of the problems were basic: standing water on the floor, debris in the ware washing machine, and a hole in the wall. Then there were the intermediate issues, like a paper towel dispenser that wasn’t dispensing. And the high-priority violations? Well, they included live roaches, a dish machine sanitizer that wasn’t up to par, and an expired license.

This resulted in a temporary shutdown. But don't worry – after a couple of follow-up inspections on July 16, 2024, the restaurant was able to address the problems. With 10 violations remaining but none posing an immediate threat, Wing House was deemed to have met inspection standards and reopened its doors.

So, if you’re planning a visit to Wing House in Sanford, it looks like they’ve sorted things out and are ready to serve up those wings again!
