Nevada Sandwich Chain Set to Open 10 Locations in Florida

Central Florida is gearing up to welcome a new sandwich option as the West Coast chain Port of Subs prepares to make its debut in the Sunshine State. Known for its fresh, made-to-order sandwiches, Port of Subs will open ten new locations in the Orlando area, starting in 2025.

Founded in 1972 by two brothers in Nevada, Port of Subs has grown from a single sandwich shop into a well-regarded chain with approximately 135 stores, primarily on the West Coast. The chain is celebrated for its made-to-order sandwiches featuring fresh bread, high-quality meats, and zesty sauces. In addition to sandwiches, Port of Subs offers salads, wraps, desserts, and breakfast options.

The chain has struck a deal with a local husband-and-wife team to bring Port of Subs to central Florida. The inaugural location is set to open in Maitland, with additional stores planned across the Orlando region. This marks the chain’s first foray into Florida, making it an exciting addition for local sandwich enthusiasts.

As Port of Subs prepares to introduce its offerings to Florida, anticipation is building among locals eager to try the chain’s signature sandwiches. The first Maitland location is set to open in early 2025, with subsequent stores following.
