34-year-old man hospitalized after shooting Sunday in Sherbondy Hill, Akron police say

A 34-year-old man was hospitalized after a shooting Sunday night in Sherbondy Hill, according to Akron police.

Officers responded to a reported shooting just after 11 p.m. in the 50 block of Susan Court, discovering the victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

Detectives learned that the victim was shot during an argument with an unknown suspect. Officials are still working to identify the suspect, who reportedly fled after the shooting.
