Video: Watch as Ohio trooper rescues puppies from danger near highway

In a heartwarming video, two adorable puppies were saved from a busy highway, thanks to the watchful eye of an Ohio Highway Patrol trooper .

"Watch out for the dog, watch out for the dog," the trooper says repeatedly as a motorist comes dangerously close to hitting the puppies that wandered onto a roadway in Huron County.

The trooper moved quickly to get closer to the puppies, who appear timid yet playful. Both animals were scooped up by the trooper and returned home safely.

Before being put back in their kennels, the trooper spent some time playing with the puppies as well as the other dogs nearby.
