Looking for a deal on a season pass to Cedar Point?

You're in luck. The amusement park with a lineup of world-class roller coasters currently has them discounted.

Here's what you should know and how to get one.

    Cedar Point season pass price

Through Labor Day on Sept. 2, Cedar Point is offering its Gold Pass for $99, excluding taxes and fees. The pass is valid for the rest of the 2024 season, and all of 2025, including HalloWeekends .

A Gold Pass offers unlimited visits to the amusement park, unlimited visits to Cedar Point Shores, free general parking and a 10% discount on food, merchandise and Cedar Point hotels.

A Prestige Pass is also available for $340, plus taxes and fees. It offers all the Gold Pass bonuses plus some extras, such as access to VIP areas, preferred parking and early admission to the park.

    Cedar Point ticket prices

If you head to Cedar Point for just one day, there are a variety of ticket options, including:

    • $49.99 -- daily tickets
    • $79.99 -- Funday bundle, which includes meals and parking

Top Thrill 2 roller coaster still closed

Cedar Point's newest roller coaster, Top Thrill 2, has been grounded since May for repairs . The theme park was seen testing the coaster in late July, creating a buzz on social media that it might reopen before the end of the season. However, the park has not provided an update on the coaster's status since early June.

According to that June 4 update , the coaster's manufacturer, Zamperla, is working on modifications to Top Thrill 2's vehicles. Once complete, Zamperla, the park's maintenance and operations teams and its third-party ride inspection partner will review the modification before giving the OK for the ride to reopen.
