    How much do high school football tickets cost? A look at prices for Akron-area games

    The Friday night stadium lights will be burning bright and noise from raucous student sections and marching bands will soon greet spectators' ears as high school football season kicks off this week.

    How much are high school football game tickets in Summit County?

    With football ticket prices reportedly increasing for some area schools, we have compiled a list of how much it costs to get into the stadium to cheer on the student athletes at schools we provide coverage for. The below pricing is for online and at the gate tickets, unless otherwise noted.

    2024 high school football: Akron-area high school football schedules, rankings and more

    Akron City Series

    Tickets cost $6 for adults and $4 for students if purchased online through the Hometown Ticketing app or cash at the gate for the following schools:

    • Buchtel CLC
    • East CLC
    • Ellet CLC
    • Firestone CLC
    • Garfield CLC
    • North High School

    Akron-area Parochial schools: Hoban, STVM and Walsh Jesuit

    Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for students for the following schools:

    • Archbishop Hoban
    • St. Vincent-St. Mary
    • Walsh Jesuit

    Suburban League - National Conference

    • Hudson : $8 for adults and $4 for students online and at the gate
    • Nordonia : $8 for adults; $4 for students online until 1 p.m. on gameday and $8 afterwards
    • Twinsburg : $8 for adults; $4 for students online until 3 p.m. on gameday and $8 afterwards
    • Wadsworth: $8 for adults; $4 for students online until 3 p.m. on gameday and $8 afterwards
    • Stow-Munroe Falls: $10 for adults and $5 for students online; $10 for both with cash at the gate

    Suburban League - American Conference

    • Aurora: $8 for adults and $4 for students online and at the gate
    • Barberton : $8 for adults and $4 for students online and at the gate
    • Copley : $8 for adults and $5 for students online until 3 p.m. on gameday and $8 for students afterwards
    • Cuyahoga Falls : $8 for adults and $4 for students online and at the gate
    • Highland : $4 for students online and $7 at the gate; adult tickets are $7 online and at the gate
    • Revere : $4 for students and $8 for adults online until 5 p.m. on gameday; $8 for both at the gate; Revere High School students get in free
    • Kent Roosevelt : $8 for adults and $4 for students online and at the gate
    • Tallmadge : $8 for adults and $4 for students in grades 6-12 online; free for students in kindergarten through grade 5; $10 for all with cash at the gate

    Metro Athletic Conference

    For the following schools, tickets cost $8 for adults and $6 for students online and $8 for all at the gate:

    • Coventry
    • Field
    • Norton
    • Ravenna
    • Springfield
    • Streetsboro
    • Woodridge

    Other high schools in Beacon Journal coverage area

    • CVCA : $10 for adults and $5 for students/senior citizens online and at the gate. Kids grade 8 and under get in free.
    • Green : $7 online and $8 at the gate for general admission. For reserved seats, tickets are $7 online and $9 at the gate. Prices apply to both adults and students.
    • Manchester : $8 for adults and $5 for students online and at the gate.
