A 19-year-old man was arrested in connection to a break-in at Vandevere Kia in the 300 block of W. Market Street, Akron police reported.

Officers responded to the break-in just before 2 a.m. Monday, finding the suspect tampering with vehicles in the parking lot upon arrival. Several cars were running with lights on, the front door of the dealership was shattered and at least two vehicles in the lot were found with broken windows, police reported.

The suspect admitted to taking keys from the business to access the vehicles. One vehicle was discovered to be driven around the lot, police said.

The suspect was arrested and charged with breaking and entering, unauthorized use of motor vehicles, theft, criminal mischief and criminal damage.
