    Summit County Athletes of the Week Sept. 2-8 | Keira Lang, Rowan Klein win vote

    Two athletes from Revere High School won the voting for the Summit County High School Athlete of the Week for Sept. 2-8.

    Keira Lang is the girls winner and Rowan Klein wins for the boys. Lang runs cross country and Klein plays football. Lang received 46.52% of the votes cast. Klein received 63.59% of the votes cast.

    A total of 1,257 votes were cast overall in the first voting for the 2024-25 school year.

    Keira Lang, Revere cross country

    Placed third at the Walsh Jesuit Pat Ritchie Invitational in 1938.34.

    Rowan Klein, Revere football

    Ran for 124 yards and three touchdowns on 23 carries to power the undefeated Minutemen to a 35-0 victory over Ravenna.

    Editor's note: Winners of the Summit County Athlete of the Week in the spring are not eligible to win it again until the fall sports season begins.
