A bomb threat made Friday morning to Akron Children's Hospital was deemed to not be credible, according to hospital officials.

"Patient care was not impacted by this threat, and we remain committed to the safety of our patients and families," a statement from the hospital read.

The threat came in around 6 a.m., Akron police said. The incident is still under investigation.

This threat comes on the heels of a threat made to Copley High School on Monday evening that was also found not to be credible.

    This story will be updated.
