    Summit County Athletes of Week Sept. 16-22 | Cassandra Komlanc, Austin Wilhoit win vote

    Athletes from Copley and Stow high schools won the voting for the Summit County High School Athlete of the Week for Sept. 16-22.

    Cassandra Komlanc is the girls winner and Austin Wilhoit wins for the boys. Komlanc is a tennis player and Wilhoit plays golf. Komlanc received 37.95% of the votes cast. Wilhoit received 42.69% of the votes cast.

    A total of 3,169 votes were cast overall.

    Cassandra Komlanc, Copley tennis

    Recorded her 50th career win and was runner up at No. 1 singles at the Suburban League American Conference tournament.

    Austin Wilhoit, Stow golf

    Won the third Suburban League National Conference tournament at Windmill Lakes with a round of 69.
