The run is over for a "Jeopardy" champ from Northeast Ohio.

Ryan Manton, who on the TV quiz show identifies himself as a system analyst for a nonprofit in the Columbus area, lost on Friday's show.

Manton is a 2011 graduate of Copley-Fairlawn schools.

He had been on a four-game winning streak and ended up winning $86,179 on the popular quiz show.

Manton was one win away from automatically qualifying for the show's Tournament of Champions.

He was playing catchup much of Friday's game and his fate was sealed when didn't know the answer to the Final Jeopardy question.

Manton credited honing his "Jeopardy" skills by his participation in a bar trivia league.

It also helped that his wife, Lauren, appeared once on "Jeopardy," too, about three years ago.

He lost to Mark Fitzpatrick, a content manager from Riverside, Connecticut, on Friday's episode.
