There is a small risk of severe thunderstorms this afternoon through much of Northeast Ohio, according to the National Weather Service.

Any potential thunderstorms are expected between 3 and 6 p.m. today. Strong wind gusts and hail are the main concerns. Spotter activation may be needed.

There also is a slight chance of showers before noon on Monday, according to the National Weather Service forecast. The clouds are expected to give way to mostly sunny skies. The remainder of the week is expected to be sunny, with highs ranging from the low to mid 60s.
