A 23-year-old motorcyclist was killed Tuesday night while driving on I-76 in Wadsworth, according to the Ohio State highway Patrol.

The man, identified as Cooper Wrobel, was headed east on I-76 near milepost 7.4 when he lost control of his motorcycle and drove off the left side of the road into the center median, the state patrol said. Wrobel was ejected from the vehicle and landed on the left lane of the highway. Oncoming traffic struck the Wadsworth man, and he was pronounced dead on the scene.

The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
