David Fry played the hero for the Guardians, who won their first postseason elimination game since Game 6 of the 1997 World Series. Fry hit a go-ahead two-run home run in the seventh inning and added a suicide squeeze bunt for an insurance run in the ninth inning to help send the Guardians to victory.

According to a statement from Major League Baseball, the start time of Saturday's game was rescheduled from 8:08 p.m. to 1:08 p.m. "due to the forecasted inclement weather in Cleveland."
