Orrville man dies in collision with truck in Medina County

An Orrville man died in a crash Friday morning in Chatham Township, according to the Medina County Sheriff's Office.

At 8:25 a.m., officials received a call about a GMC Sierra colliding with a tractor-trailer. The sheriff's office said the driver of the pickup truck, Brent Ogg, did not stop at the stop sign at Vandemark and Chatham roads and was struck by a semi-truck traveling west on Chatham Road.

Ogg was ejected from the Sierra. He was transported to Lodi Hospital, where he died of his injuries.

Chatham and Lafayette fire departments assisted sheriff's deputies at the scene.
