PHILADELPHIA — The Browns shuffled the roster around the day before they face the Eagles in Philadelphia.

The biggest moves was the activation of two players — linebacker Mohamoud Diabate and defensive tackle Maurice Hurst II — from the injured reserve list. The Browns also activated defensive tackle Mike Hall Jr., who had been suspended for the first five games by the NFL.

The Browns also placed offensive tackle James Hudson III on injured reserve. Hudson had undergone what's expected to be season-ending shoulder surgery on Thursday.

Safety Chris Edmonds was elevated from the practice squad to the gameday roster with Grant Delpit (concussion) and Ronnie Hickman (ankle) both out against the Eagles. Wide receiver Jaelon Darden was also elevated from the practice squad to the gameday roster, replacing James Proche II, whose contract was terminated.

Diabate and Hurst had both been on injures reserve since Sept. 11 due to injuries sustained in the season opener against the Dallas Cowboys. Diabate sustained a hip injury, while Hurst suffered an ankle injury.

Hall was originally placed on the commissioner's exempt list on Aug. 27 in connection to his arrest earlier than month on a domestic violence charge. He eventually pleaded to a disorderly conduct charge on Sept. 19, and the NFL officially suspended him on Oct. 1.
