Three lanes of South High Street will be closed Wednesday due to steam service work

Akron Energy Systems and Kenmore Construction Co. will close three lanes of South High Street at the intersection of East Mill Street on Wednesday because of steam service work at the Greystone building.

Traffic will continue to be maintained but merged into a single lane and shifted around the work zone, according to a city news release. Drivers are urged to use caution while proceeding through the area.

This work is expected to be completed by Nov. 8, according to Akron's Traffic Engineering Division.
