    Big Christmas! Guardians Jhonkensy Noel blasts game-tying homer in ALCS Game 3

    CLEVELAND — Guardians rookie Jhonkensy Noel hit a two-run home run off of Yankees closer Luke Weaver with two outs in the ninth inning to tie the score at 5-5 in Game 3 of the ALCS at Progressive Field

    Noel pinch-hit for Daniel Schneemann and hit a 1-0 pitch into the left field bleachers. Lane Thomas hit a double and scored on Noel's homer off of an 88.2 mph change-up.

    Noel's home run traveled 403.6 feet and had an exit velocity 109 mph.

    Andres Gimenez struck out to end the inning.

    Extra innings coming up. It was the second big blast of the game by a rookie for the Guardians, who earlier got a two-run home run from Kyle Manzardo to give them a 2-1 lead in the third.
