With just two weeks left in the regular season, every game gets put under the microscope when it comes to playoff positioning and the all-important Suburban League American Conference between Copley and Revere had it all.
Copley won a wild one 47-35 on Friday clinch a spot in the Division III, Region 10 playoffs.
Gabe Manzel rushed for 160 yards and three scores for Copley (5-4, 4-2). He was 18-of-22 for 229 yards and threw three touchdowns to Andrew McKnight (7 catches, 81 yards) and another to Jacob Kuczkowski (2 catches, 65 yards).
It pushed Copley's winning streak to four straight.
Revere (5-4, 3-3) wasn't without its heroes. James Perry had 11 carries for 82 yards and a touchdown. Aaron French had four catches for 113 yards with a score. Nicholas Hall made six catches for 79 yards and a score.
Luke Farris was 14-of-23 for 264 yards and threw an interception. He also ran nine times for 42 yards and a score.

Here we go again. Copley went 55 yards in three plays to retake the lead. Andrew McKnight scored on a 16-yard touchdown from Gabe Mansel with 50 seconds left in the third quarter. It's 41-35 Copley.
McKnight has six catches for 79 yards and three touchdowns. Mansel is 14-of-18 for 185 yards and has thrown four touchdowns.
Luke Farris stayed alive just long enough to find Nicholas Hall near the sideline at the 3-yard line. The junior stayed in bounds and scored to make it 35-34, Revere with 1:49 left in the third quarter.
A quick shuffle was intercepted by Jason Baines to set Copley up at the Revere 19. Two plays later, Gabe Mansel hit Andrew McKnight on a crossing pattern for a 24-yard touchdown. It's Copley 34, Revere 28 with 9:29 left in the third quarter.

Yes, 41 points were scored in the second quarter. Yes, they all came within a 6:58 span. It's 28-27 Revere at the break in one of the craziest first halves in Week 9.
No, we're not kidding. The Minutemen went 69 yards on four plays and took of 2:02. Aaron French hauled in a 25-yard touchdown pass from Luke Farris. It's Revere 28, Copley 27 with 1:09 left before the break.
Copley executed a perfect onside kick and took over on its own 42-yard line after a 53-yard score by Gabe Mansel. Mansel orchestrated a seven-play, 58-yard drive and called his own number from 2 yards out. While the extra point failed, Copley has taken the lead 27-21 with 2:18 left before intermission.
Well, that didn't take long. Copley tied things back up on a two-play drive and scored on a 53-yard touchdown by Gabe Mansel. Mansel has 134 yards and two touchdowns on six carries. It's Copley 21, Revere 21 with 4:25 left before the break.
James Perry bull-rushed through the Copley linebacking unit on third-and-1 and scored from 20 yards out to make it Revere 21, Copley 14 with 5:12 left before halftime.
Revere answered a three-play touchdown drive by Copley with a four-play one of their own. It ended with Luke Farris and Johlil Blanchard hooking up on a 40-yard screen pass for a touchdown. It's 14-14 with 6:56 to play before the break.
Harrison Drvenkar recovered the onside kick for Revere and the Minutemen still have the ball on the Copley 40.
Gabe Mansel ran one up the gut for 59 yards and then found Jacob Kuczkowski on a 21-yard touchdown. It's Copley, Revere 7 with 9:12 left. The drive went 88 yards on three plays and took 27 seconds. It's 14-7
Two long drives by each team made it 7-7 between the two. Revere is driving. The Minutemen have the ball first-and-10 on their own 39 to start the second quarter.
Gabe Mansel orchestrated a 13-play, 72-yard drive to bring it back to even. Copley scored from 2 yards out when Mansel called his own number. It's 7-7 with 1:02 left.
The Minutemen put together a eight-play, 76-yard drive that 4:42 off the clock. Luke Farris went in from a yard out to put Revere on the board. The score was set up by a 44-yard catch by Aaron French. It's 7-0, Revere with 5:04 left in the first quarter.
Revere started its first drive in on its own 48 with 10:10 left in the first quarter, but Johlil Blanchard fumbled and Copley defensive back Collin Witherspoon II to set Copley up on the 49 with 9:59 left.
Gabe Mansel went back to pass and was picked by Harrison Drvenkar. One pass play to Aaron French later and Revere has the ball on the Copley 31 with 7:38 left in the first quarter.

Both teams appear to be near locks for the playoffs, according to Fantastic50.net . A win by either team would guarantee a spot in the postseason with a chance to host a playoff game should one of them win their final two games.
Revere is seventh in Division III, Region 10, and Copley is 10th in Division III, Region 10. If the season were to end right now, they'd face each other in Week 11.
