CLEVELAND — The Guardians and the New York Yankees are tied 6-6 through eight innings Friday night in Game 4 of the ALCS at Progressive Field.

Bo Naylor led off the eighth with a double to right field off Yankees reliever Mark Leiter Jr. and scored a run.

Naylor advanced to third base when Brayan Rocchio grounded out. Steven Kwan popped out and then Naylor scored as David Fry reached base on an infield single. Fry hit the ball toward Leiter, who bobbled it and ran toward the first-base line to grab it. Once he had the ball in hand, Leiter threw it toward first baseman Anthony Rizzo and it trickled past him into right field as Fry crossed first base. Fry took second base as the ball rolled away from Rizzo.

Yankees manager Aaron Boone decided to intentionally walk Jose Ramirez and Leiter struck out Josh Naylor.

Guardians closer Emmanuel Clase entered the game in the ninth.
