The problem lies with the folks who believe that they can get ahead by using violence that has never worked for them and others in their lives. 1. Using violence to solve problems only makes the problem worse. 2. Living and growing up in a family that is very unstable and with no resources and structure is the perfect recipe for crime especially in urban areas where the next door neighbors are in the same situation with everyone else in the neighborhood. Violence and crime are the only options that they know to solve problems. Therefore the gun is their go to solution for problems. What’s a tragedy all around for them who only have one method to solving problems which is gun violence. If you are in such a situation and live in a community with daily violence, you only have one option is to get out of it as soon as possible by completing school and other survival skills in order to make it somewhere else where there is structure and people who have great options other than crime.
