July was a quiet month on the Richter Scale for Georgia, with the state registering only one earthquake after experiencing six quakes each month in May and June. Georgia's only measureable earthquake in July was recorded on July 25 at 1:57 am centered approximately six miles northeast of Eton, GA, in Murray County. According to data from the US Geological Survey (USGS), the quake registered a magnitude of 2.4 at a depth of approximately six miles below the surface. RB Kyle Edwards has entered the portal, meaning the Crimson Tide are set to lose 2 running backs in the span of a week after Keilan Robinson did the same earlier. However, the loss of Edwards isn’t that impactful. Alabama Football Talk host Tom Downey explains why in today’s video. Edwards, a former 3-star recruit, was buried behind several other running backs. The Crimson Tide’s depth is still good at the position.
