Shelby Baptist Medical Center’s Ginger Bentley receives hall of fame honor

ALABASTER – Shelby Baptist Medical Center announced on July 2 that Inpatient Wound Care Coordinator Ginger Bentley has been honored by Tenet Healthcare as part of its annual employee recognition program. Bentley has been named a Tenet Hero, with the additional honor of being inducted into the Tenet Heroes’ Hall of Fame.

The Tenet Heroes program celebrates individuals who go above and beyond the scope of their roles and everyday duties. Nominated by leadership and/or fellow colleagues, Heroes exemplify Tenet’s core values and commitment to its mission.

“Ginger’s actions make a positive and meaningful impact in our community each day,” said Holly Dean, CEO of Shelby Baptist “We are proud to serve alongside Ginger and deeply appreciate her continued commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care to our patients.”

Each year, a select few are inducted into the Tenet Heroes’ Hall of Fame, the company’s most prestigious honor for employees. This year, 25 individuals or teams were named to the Hall of Fame, including Bentley.

Bentley was recognized as a Tenet Hero and Hall of Fame winner for her outstanding contributions to both Shelby Baptist Medical Center and the Alabaster community as a whole.
