Alachua County FDOT road and lane closures for the week of Oct. 5-11, 2024

ALACHUA COUNTY, Fla. – Florida Department of Transportation will be closing the following lanes or roads next week:

• NW 39th Avenue (State Road 222) from NW 95th Boulevard to NW 91st Street (FIN 447032-1-52-01) (29.688936438581443, -82.44150112341414) Nighttime lane closures Monday through Thursday from 8 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. to install roadway markings and barrier wall.
• SW 13th Street at SW Fifth Avenue (29.64736765200718, -82.33928951922036) Daytime lane closures weekdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. for road work.
• U.S. 41 from SW175th Avenue to SW 137th Avenue (FIN 207798-7-52-01) (29.527529207450353, -82.51900750987716) Daytime lane closures weekdays from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. for roadside work.
• West Newberry Road (State Road 26) from NW 98th Street to NW 180th Street (29.6546796356026, -82.48811404473675) Daytime lane closures weekdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. for roadside work.
• West Newberry Road (State Road 26) just west of Newberry Lane (29.653575, -82.594606) Daytime lane closures weekdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. for turn lane construction.
• West University Avenue (State Road 26) from NW 22nd Street to Buckman Drive: Daytime and nighttime road closure on Saturday from 3:45 to 11:45 p.m. for the UF vs. UCF football game. Complete road closure from Gale Lemerand Drive to NW 17th Street and local traffic only from NW 22nd Street to Gale Lemerand Drive.
