Man who admitted to killing Elon University student in Myrtle Beach crash avoids jail time
MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. — A man who admitted to causing an accident resulting in the death of an Elon University student in Myrtle Beach last year will not serve jail time. Jason Sauro pleaded guilty to a charge of first-degree assault and battery, according to NBC affiliate WMBF. He was sentenced to 10 years in prison.
