    Tristan and Layla are flying due west, toward Alameda, California.
    Alameda is located at 37.77349° N  122.27851° W.
    Tristan remarks, “The sun appears to hover to the west of us.”
    Layla agrees: “Indeed, Phoebus is neither rising nor setting.”
    The Earth has a radius of 3963 miles and they are cruising at 40,000 feet.
