Pets of the Week for August 10, 2024

Jim and Dwight are blind brothers and the best of friends. They’re also sweet, fun, playful characters who don’t even know there’s a world of sight all around them.

The bonded bros, who are now three years old, have been sightless since kittenhood and are experts at finding their way around new places and meeting new people. Their world is all about snuggling each other, exploring, and hanging out with a family.

Did we mention they are goofy and fun as well? Whoever adopts these two will have some of the most unique, beautiful, prized cats around.

Meeting them is easy, especially if you happen to be shopping at South Shore Center—they’re right there at FAAS’s South Shore Adoption Center, 2228 South Shore. The cat center is open every afternoon except Mondays and Tuesdays.

Meanwhile, check out Jim and Dwight’s bio page on the Friends of the Alameda Animal Shelter website. And see FAAS CEO John Lipp’s recent plea for help with a cat hoarding crisis.
