Details have now emerged of that crash, the second military crash in New Mexico in the last 30 days. A prior crash occurred originating from Holloman Air Force Base crashing at White Sands National Park.

In a report released this week Cannabis or Marijuana use now exceed alcohol use in the United States. Conducted annually, the National Survey on Drug Use and Health (NSDUH) provides nationally representative data on the use of tobacco, alcohol, and drugs; substance use disorders; receipt of substance use treatment; mental health issues; and the use of mental health services among the civilian, noninstitutionalized population aged 12 or older in the United States. NSDUH estimates allow researchers, clinicians, policymakers, and the general public to better understand and improve the nation’s behavioral health. The most recent report covers 2021/22 and was released in May of 2024.
