    New Mexico Health Care Authority Appoints Three New Division Directors

    The New Mexico Health Care Authority (HCA) announced a significant leadership overhaul with the appointment of three seasoned professionals as division directors, tasked with driving improvements in health outcomes and services for New Mexicans.

    Jennifer Rodriguez will lead the Developmental Disability Supports Division, bringing over 26 years of experience in the field of intellectual and developmental disabilities. Dan Lanari, with a decade of expertise in quality and patient safety leadership, will head the Division of Health Improvement. Colin Baillio, formerly Deputy Superintendent at the Office of the Superintendent of Insurance, will direct Health Care Coverage Innovations, leveraging his experience in healthcare affordability initiatives.

    “We are fortunate to have three experienced and capable directors to lead at the Health Care Authority,” said Kari Armijo, cabinet secretary for the New Mexico Health Care Authority. “Jennifer Rodriguez, Dan Lanari and Collin Baillio bring a wealth of knowledge and share a commitment to improving health outcomes for New Mexicans.”

    Jennifer Rodriguez has dedicated her career to advocating for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Her extensive experience in state government includes roles such as DD Waiver Program Manager and Deputy Director of DDSD. Rodriguez is committed to ensuring that those with developmental disabilities receive the support they need to thrive.

    Dan Lanari has over 10 years of experience i leading healthcare quality and patient safety initiatives in New Mexico. With a Doctorate in Physical Therapy and an MBA in Rural Healthcare Leadership, Lanari is focused on making healthcare safer and more effective for all New Mexicans.

    Colin Baillio brings a strong background in healthcare affordability, having led key initiatives at the Office of the Superintendent of Insurance. A native of Albuquerque and a University of New Mexico graduate, Baillio is dedicated to improving both health and economic security for residents across the state.
